Renato Garza Cervera works in a wide variety of media including painting, drawing, graphic art, sculpture, objects and installation. He has also made interventions, action and video pieces that have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Mexico, in the USA, as well as in various European countries. Cervera was a beneficiary of a Young Creators 2010-2011 bursary of the National Fund for Culture and Arts of Mexico. He currently teaches at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving La Esmeralda, in Mexico City, and at the National Center for the Arts.
