Each edition of The Resale is an unparalleled and unavoidable event in the market of secondary art in Montreal and allows the collectors to reanimate their collection’s treasures. Some can offer others the chance to acquire works from artists whose productions are no longer available, while others can be marveled in front of unexpected discoveries. The Resale initiates the new year on notes of novelty and diversity and enables a new public to discover our great institution. We are also happy that this event can now be extended throughout the year owing to the web page Larevente.art which additionally expands the potential exchanges all over the world.
This 9th edition’s repertoire of artists is particularly astonishing and the presented works are much varied. The plurality of propositions enables the satisfaction of a wide range of budgets and thus everyone can be contented. This is exactly the reason of being of The Resale; respond to the diverse needs of art enthusiasts and offer a meeting point for everyone who shares this passion. Definitely, these two months are very nourishing for the members of our team because they help us to take the pulse of what occupies the walls of Quebec’s art lovers.
