Erika Dueck is a visual artist from Manitoba who finished her BFA (Honours) at the University of Manitoba in 2013 and completed her MFA at the University of Guelph in 2016. Her work has received several awards, including the National Winner of the BMO 1st Art! Invitational Student Art Competition, longlisted for Aesthetica: The Art and Culture Magazine’s Art Prize, and recognition as one of eleven winners in the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics and Human Rights Global Art Competition. She has had the opportunity to exhibit her work across Canada in Winnipeg, Montreal, and Toronto, as well as globally, from Texas, to New York and Rome.
