Trevor Kiernander obtained a BFA w/ distinction from Concordia University in Montreal (2006), and an MFA in Art Practice from Goldsmiths University of London (2009). He was short-listed for the Eastern Division of the Canada-wide RBC Painting Competition in 2007 and was published in Carte Blanche 2, a compendium of Canadian painting (Magenta, 2008). Along with London-based artist Emma E Hunt, Trevor recently co-directed the artist-run space, ShopAt34 in Covent Garden, London, UK. He has recently had solo exhibitions at Bearspace Gallery in Deptford (Jan. 2010) and Galerie Art Mur in Montreal, Canada (May 2010), and was short-listed for both New Contemporaries 2010 and John Moores Painting 2010. He continues to exhibit internationally and is participating in upcoming exhibitions in Montreal, London, UK, and Speyer, Germany.
